ENCORE AGENDA: Leveraging experience
The second half of life is an opportunity to leave a legacy. We invite you to see your life as full of new possibilities. We offer a chance for you to imagine making a difference around some issue you care about. Health care? Solar energy? The economy? You have many skills and lots of experience...
Imagine the possibilities!
An encore agenda is a chance to do something you've always wanted to do. If you have an idea you think would make a difference, or you're ready to grow ideas in a new kind of garden, you aren't alone. There are many people (some in their seventies and eighties!) taking up the charge of making change. Our program, Encore Agenda, is an engaging way to learn more about social entrepreneurs and how the second half of life is a prime time to solve a problem. Meet others, imagine what might be done, understand how social entrepreneurs are making a difference, and consider how you might become one. It's a series of eight weekly workshops that gets you thinking about leading.
Do you meet with a local group? A club or set of friends who would like to explore this idea? If you are in Portland, Oregon we will come share ideas and examples with you. You never know what you and your friends or colleagues might create!
Find your passion. Take action.
