WELL WITHIN REACH
MaryEllen McMahon

While People Magazine and E! Entertainment gossip about which star received a DUI or who recently emerged from celebrity rehab, the opiate addict in communities everywhere struggles to find quality, lasting treatment. What recourse do addicts have? Do they deserve equally high-quality treatment? Mary Ellen believes they do.

IMAGINE: A world where health is valued as a basic human right.

Well Within Reach gives recovering addicts access to all kinds of practices that promote better health and well-being. The need for addiction treatment services continues to grow at an alarming rate.  Heroin and opiate abuse and addiction are increasing. Wellness therapies work!  Acupuncture, massage therapy, meditation, and various forms of energy work can be very helpful in long-term pain management.

MISSION: Providing an opiate-addiction recovery program that treats the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

Well Within Reach offers addicts a chance to develop habits that support and maintain long-term health through a unique relationship with a spa.  A wellness center that offers spa treatments, fitness classes, alternative health treatments such as Reiki, massage therapy, and acupuncture, and wellness counseling and education is the perfect partnership for this idea.  Every time you use the services here to support your own health, you are supporting the health of others.  Profits from the spa would fund Well Within Reach’s unique treatment program that allows recovering opiate addicts to know how great it can be to feel healthy.
