Social Innovation Forum

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Join the social innovators in your
community to learn, plan, and grow.

A monthly Social Innovation Forum designed to launch action. People gather early to visit, grab a bite, and connect with new people.

The monthly Springboard Social Innovation Forum offers a community-based evening designed to support those interested in creating a better future. Our focus is to help practitioners or potential practitioners of social projects push beyond discussion and debate into action. We invite people from both the business and non-profit community—investors and activists—to join in, work together, and make this a model for other cities to adopt.

Each Forum is designed to provide new ideas and strategies, generating discussion and dialogue—the "thinking out loud" that allows us to benefit by listening to each other. Sometimes the ideas challenge the status quo. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. Those are the Forums we like the best, when we've caused reflection.

The Forum inspires and teaches by sharing new ideas, presenting role models and case studies, and offering opportunities to connect. Speakers, content experts, panels, and workshops help improve strategies for planning and launching effective social ventures.

The Forum creates a context to connect, learn, and take action around ideas that lead to tangible change. Our goal is to get the "toads out of the road," those roadblocks that just don't seem to move, so you can move forward with meaningful actions. Bring your team, your board, your partner, your ideas—we'll help move your idea forward, along with good food and drink!

Chances are, you’ll have some good answers of your own. Each forum is your chance to talk about them with others in the community who share your concern. And if you have an idea ready to turn into action, you’ll find peers and friends ready to help.
